James Muigai specializes in Abstract and Fine Art Paintings. It has been a long journey that started 15 years ago from his grandfather’s, Mr. Kenneth Wainaina small home. James grandfather was an instrument figure in molding and horning his artistry skills. James discovered he can paint when he was a young boy through watching and learning from his grandfather doing the same. His passion of painting grew fonder as he came of age. Over the years, James painting have grown from being a hobby and something he loved doing apart from school work to commercial and professional works that he earns a living from. He loves painting and oftenly says, he can’t clearly picture his life without the paint bit of it. He’s smitten, passionate and values his works. James medium of painting is through oil paint and acrylic. He focuses primarily on Abstract paint works and Fine Art. James works as a commercial and professional Artist and showcases his works in various Galleries within Kenya and oversees. During his free time, he trains upcoming artists at Kinoo Art Gallery located along Waiyaki Way. As he oftenly quotes himself, “Art is my life and my life is Art.
